About Me

Me and my wife enjoying Lake Anna

My name is William Corey Harrison, but you can just call me Corey! I am a recent graduate of the University of Mary Washington, with a degree in History. I have spent my time in the university seeking to better myself, learn profitable skills, and make a difference in my community. The University of Mary Washington is known for its excellent history program and they have equipped me with knowledge and skills that would make me a valuable asset to your team. My ability to express complex ideas through written and verbal communication, compress large amounts of information into key points, and to conduct thorough research are among my skills.

Trying to stay dry at Fort Stewart

While UMW has been one of my greatest experiences, the discipline, work ethic, teamwork, and ethos of the Army is what developed me the most. I was in the Army for three years and worked as an Infantry Scout for the battalion commander. I achieved the rank of corporal before being given an honorable discharge for medical reasons. The knowledge and discipline that I gained in the Army helped me academically, and I graduated UMW with above a 3.0 average.
